Hello, hobocat.
Jan. 18th, 2005 01:08 pmEight things I would do if I was unemployed:
Stop shaving altogether
Grow my hair out
Watch a lot of daytime television
Consider TV/VCR repair as a new career
Eat cereal for every meal
Stand in more lines
Watch every DVD the library has to offer
Significantly reduce my bathing frequency
The photo DVDs were distributed during poker weekend and I was very pleased at how appreciative everyone was to have them. We watched them on Friday and Saturday and laughed at our bad haircuts (read: my bad haircut) through the years. I wonder if it was hard for Eric, since there are a lot of picture of Carrie (his ex) on there. Anyway, it was worth all of the effort and now that we've gone digital the future years will be simple to complete. I got some really good pictures from the weekend too. I can't wait till we head back for our summer outing.
Tonight is the first planned workout in longer than I care to admit. This is the year to get in shape, for crying out loud. I lifted weights last week and it was a wake-up call to how much progress I have to make. I'm aiming for 30 minutes of Tae Bo tonight and more lifting on Thursday. I'm also toying with the idea of getting a tattoo as a reward for dropping some tonnage. Likely, this icon because Face to Face will always be my favorite band. I'm also toying with the idea of trying the "No S Diet" (http://nosdiet.com), or at least the workout routine it recommends.
Marie and I had dinner with my mom last night - vegetable lasagna, a corn/broccoli casserole and 'better than sex' cake. I didn't have the heart to tell my mom it wasn't.
