There were these great commercials running on the Oxygen Network, targeting the cavalier attitude people take toward their civic duty.

"Where's that report?"
"The rest of America is taking care of it!"

"Here's your bill."
"Actually, the rest of America will be paying for my dinner."

My favorite one of the bunch - the 2 skydivers jumping out of a plane, and one screaming, "I thought the rest of America was bringing the parachute!"
