It's funny - I was the last one of my friends to have a serious relationship but the first one married. It didn't seem young at the time, but it does in a way now.
There are no chinstrap beards on that icon maker page! :(
1)Who is your favorite Facts of Life character? 2)What is your favorite cereal? 3)Who do you think would win in a fight: Abraham Lincoln or Elton John? What would his finishing move be?
1. What is your favorite book (& why)? 2. What is something that never fails to make you nostalgic? 3. If you had a week off right now, what would you do?
Tootie was a cuutie! Lately, I've been hooked on Sunbelt Granola (banana nut). There aren't a lot of cereals I don't like. I think Mighty Abe would be the victor, despite being a corpse. I'm going to have to go with brain-devouring after a few viscious punches to the throat.
Yet somehow I hide it all under my thuggishly handsome exterior. I tell ya, the alphageekness is like an uber-pheromone to those girls keen enough to detect it.
Non-fiction - Anger: Wisdom for Cooling the Flames by Thich Nhat Hanh. This is a book that I could read once a month and still not feel like I've got the concepts down. Simple to read, difficult to put in practice. Fiction - Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King (just edging out The Stand). A departure from his usual stuff and medieval shit is just plain cool.
Looking through photo albums. I was (and still mostly am) the shutterbug of the group and have lots of great memories as a result.
Find a new car to buy and visit me friends. Watch way too much daytime television.
Blot as much as you can with paper towel/rags. If no Wet/Dry vac, I think club soda is supposed to dilute stains enough so they aren't noticeable, depending what the stain is of.
My grandmother used to have a place in Florida with VERY nice white carpets, which is kind of a problem when all your grandchildren are under ten years old. I don't know how old my cousin was when this happened, but young enough, as will become apparent. She had been drinking a soda or pouring one or such and spilled it ALL over the white carpet. My grandmother, obviously, panicked and ran and got some club soda and basically up-ended the bottle on the stain. My cousin, feeling bad and wanting to help, took the bottle of soda and followed suit.
