Visiting my parents is always enjoyable to me, as they love to make a fuss despite my protests. They were saddened to learn that I wouldn't be staying at the cottage until Sunday and instead returning home after dinner on Saturday. I honestly believe it was a good-natured plot to guilt me into staying, as I told them before I came when I'd be leaving. We visited for a while before dad and I duked it out on the ping pong table. He's quite good and he beat me rather easily.

Saturday morning, we all went to a farm auction with my dad's cousin and his wife. We were greeted by the sights of well-fed elderly men tottering around in Sears party slacks, carefully eyeing rusted-out box fans and dirt-encrusted tools. The people watching was worth the time spent in lawn chairs, engrossed in the haggling for push brooms and generators. Back for lunch (helped mom make broccoli cheese soup) and then some manual labor. Helped dad push the float out into the lake, hauled brush, weeded and raked the beach and shoreline, moved the paddle-wheel boat and so on. It was a beautiful day, but full of mosquitos.

Played some more ping pong (and bested my dad AND mom) and also played some cribbage. Feasted on veggie burgers and numerous side dishes, each more delicious than the last. Happy tummy, indeed. Returned home and got caught up with Marie and the cats.

Sunday was church with Julie (who's in a bit of a bad situation right now with her boyfriend), lunch and then yard work until Marie got home. Had dinner and then tried out our new pedometers, logging 2080 steps in about half an hour.

My new addiction is Biore nose strips.

Am I the only one who gets incredibly horny when staying overnight away from home?

Hey All!

I'm passing on a great message from Trever to all of you! Wondering what everyone has been up to since the breakup?

Here you go:

"I am putting together a series of F2F related releases for my new label, Antagonist Records entitled, "SHOOT THE MOON."

The first will be a book of all of the F2F lyrics. It is called "SHOOT THE MOON: The Lyrics of Face to Face." The book also features 20 new original illustrations by Kalynn Campbell(HTRE art & low brow originator). The book is limited to 1,000 hand numbered copies and will be available exclusively at our shows on the tour.

We will be filming a portion of the tour for a brand new DVD called, "SHOOT THE MOON: The Story of Face to Face", documenting our ENTIRE career. Including interviews and commentary with current and former members, Matt Riddle, Rob Kurth, Chad Yaro. A ton of unreleased tour footage, live footage, music videos, etc. As a bonus feature, The First Seven Years" will be included on this release. This will be in stores Jan/Feb 2005 on Antagonist Media.

The third is a CD called, "SHOOT THE MOON: A Face to Face Collection." and will feature a bit of everything plus a brand new unreleased track called, "Thick as a Brick." Artwork will include liner notes from every band member past and present and producers/engineers from the records (Jim Goodwin/Chad Blinman) telling a little about their experiences recording and performing. This will be in stores Jan/Feb on Antagonist Records."
