After nearly four years of Windows 98, I've decided to get a new system. I'm a big fan of using a computer for more than 20 minutes before needing to reboot multiple times. Hence my desire to get XP. I've thought about upgrading my current computer, but I think a new system is in order. I don't need a monitor, scanner, printer or anything, just the CPU.

Anyway, I'm looking at buying a computer from Milwaukee PC - the Performance 4000 series (http://www.milwaukeepc.com/mpc2config.asp?kkit=440148). I've bought from them before and am confident in their products.

I know a fair amount about computer, but nothing about parts. It seems like the defaults are going to be more than I need (I primarily the computer for mid-level gaming (Diablo II, Max Payne, etc) and internet). Just curious if anyone had recommendations on parts or if they think the default system is a good one. I hope this is along the lines of what the community is for and appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Thanks in advance.
