Last night was our meeting to discuss a Little Brother for Marie and me. I think we've settled on one in particular and just have a few questions to finalize our decision. I'm looking forward to it and think it will go better the second time around (for both of us).

Also spoke to my brother and hopefully cleared the air about last weekend. I had to almost force an apology from him, but for some reason I've never been able to stay mad at him. Plans were made to visit them this Saturday and show them our pictures from Seattle. Hopefully one step forward after a few steps backward.

I started a new book on philosophy that I think will be a good read. It's called Think and it's one I ordered a while back and haven't gotten around to. Having a lot of books around I haven't read yet is a good thing. I also called my dad and got caught up with him, he in Minnesota for a conference since Monday. I'm lucky to be able to truthfully say my dad rules.

I think tonight is going to be a lot of fun and know that the conversations will be wonderful. I haven't talked with Brian since early this month and it'll be good to catch up. Someday, I will pick up the drum sticks again.

I wait in giddy anticipation for
