Let's make a bet

I had a weird dream last night. Something about taking care of someone's kid (like a one year old) and starring a cast of about 4 people I work with. Also I was pinching a loaf on this toilet that was in the center of this large, high-tech bathroom when a group of people came in. I was reading some sort of magazine that was attached to the wall and had to lean way over to turn the pages.
Later, the baby kissed me and I felt overwhelmed with love and my mission in life was defined: raising this child. Maybe my paternal instincts are doing the mambo while I sleep?

Driving to the Y today at 5:30 while eating a banana reminded me of an episode of Mr. Wizard where we all learned how to slice a banana before peeling it, using a needle and thread. There was another episode where Mr. Wizard made cottage cheese, but the "helper" kid wouldn't eat it. What this has to do with anything is beyond me.
Worked last night on the Interview Project and also on my 2nd compilation CD. Let me know if you want a copy, should be done by Friday. Leave it to me to wait until the postage rates go up...
Marie had a call from Reach Counseling (where she volunteers) around 9:45 last night and had to go meet with an abuse victim to file a report at the police station. She left around 10:00 and didn't get back until after I was asleep. I asked her this morning what time she got in and she replied "quarter to midnight". I apologized for not waking up when she got back, but she countered with "No, you did. You said 'What time is it, please?'". I'd not be surprised if there exists videotape/stories of me doing all sorts of things while half-asleep.
Tonight I hope to make some changes to the Big Brothers Big Sisters website, work on the comp CD and go to bed early. Also should start researching about my potential employer to be well prepared.
Later. Holy shit, I'm actually doing what the above paragraph forecasted I would be doing. I would've posted earlier, but my computer went down (no, not on me) at work, so I was stuck sitting in the server room with a systems administrator, listening to how her plants all die over the summer.
