Jun. 19th, 2002 11:55 amI really feel like crap this morning. Squishy and submerged in water. Ok, maybe not like crap, but not good. Woke up with a viscious cough and a general feeling of illness. Trudged to the Y nevertheless and put in a good 30 minutes on the treadmill. Still feel a little woozy, but will perservere as best I can. Maybe it was that mole-removal scene on The Daily Show last night.
Terry will be over tonight for more cribbage. I got him a history of jazz book for his birthday, if for not other reason than to aid in the selection process when he wins CDs from me. Tomorrow will be drumming with Brian, I think we're going to move up to the Blue album, which will be a challenge. I know the album pretty well, but it's faster than most other stuff I played.
And now, a joke. This is probably one of my favorite jokes and I must give credit to Robbie from the misterridiculous.com message boards:
Q. What's brown and sticky?
A. A stick.
It works better being told verbally, so go forth and spread the word. Ha!
Also hope to get some more information about our trip to Seattle. I posted a plea for information in the Seattle community and got a lot of good info and links. I think it might be a more expensive trip than we first thought, but we're all about cheap entertainment. An adventure, to say the least.
And now for something completely similar...
