Note to head - Stop hurting.

Well, I’m a little bit better but far from back to myself. I’ve got a wicked bad headache and feel kinda dizzy. All this staring at a computer screen probably isn’t helping much either, but what can I do? I might head home early again (I left before lunch yesterday to get some rest) but I’d like to push myself. Can get some sleep after the Jags game tonight.

So last night I got all ready to scan in the wedding pictures and my scanner won’t work. Power light won’t even come on. Good thing I bought the $10 “If it breaks in 2 years time, return it for a replacement” warranty at the time of purchase. It’s not even 6 months old and frustrating to have to run to Appleton to exchange it. Will have to do so the next time I’m heading that way. Maybe it’s fixable, I just was not in the mood to tinker with it last night.

Random thoughts of the day:
Ok, I gave in. I put $5 in the company pool of lottery tickets after nobody won last night’s jackpot. Wish me luck in staying true after I win it big. Hello early retirement.

I hope that the meds I took (Nyquil Nightime) didn’t make things worse for me. When I blow my nose, it feels like a pencil has been forcefully jammed into my left nostril. Owwie!

I had cream of potato soup for lunch. Not quite cream of broccoli, but it was still quite good.

Red, white and blue Popsicles are fantastic. I got a box the last time we got groceries and have been trying to pace myself with little luck.
