And it feels like innocence, when you choose to not resist. - f2f

Blah. I had a bad day yesterday but today is looking up. Spent a lot of time reading and listening to the new MP3s I downloaded at my parent’s place via RoadRunner. Pretty good gig and will have fun making a few CDs next week.

I’m going out to eat with Eric for lunch, so that should be fun. Fazoli’s for some cheese ravioli and breadsticks galore. I even think it’s his turn to pay. Score when you score.

Marie and I are taking my parents out to eat tonight, so that should be fun. Tomorrow Marie and I are going with Terry and Danielle to see a Shakespeare performance in a park. Hope the weather stays nice, we always have fun with T&D. Sunday will be the Packer game at the guy’s place. I’m making taco jazz just for the special occasion.

I sorted through all of the pictures I’ve got scanned into the computer last night, it was pretty fun. Lots of memories and I’m so glad that I’m such a shutterbug. Now I just need to get a working camera and keep up with the photos. A working scanner would be nice, but you know, some things just seem to be too much trouble. I called the repair place that I have to send it to, and they had my address wrong (after I repeated it twice to the phone rep and he repeated it back to me). So it should be here by mid-week next week. When I get the new scanner, it will be number 3 within 4 months. How tragic.

I’m going to write my own survey (since I’m so fucking addicted to them) and hope it will come across as more of a ‘actually learn something about your friends beyond if they prefer bacon bits or croutons and their favorite place to ‘do it’, but we’ll see how it comes out. I just have an amazing group of friends that I think are pretty damn interesting, and the more I know about them, seemingly, the more I learn about myself. Works for me.

I think I’m going to stop getting together with my Little Brother, but more on that later. I still have to call BB/BS and let them know. I think we just have more differences than similarities and it seems like he’d prefer to be with his friends instead of me, and I’m not getting a lot out of it either. We’ve been ‘matched’ for a year, so I think we gave it a good try and just didn’t click. I hope we can still get together on occasion, just not every week. I’m hoping to take the time I did spend with my Little Brother and work towards a letter writing campaign or some sort of other volunteer work, since it’s good for the soul.

I finally finished Harry Potter (Goblet of Fire, the 4th book). It was pretty good, but not great. I liked the 2nd one best. Now I’ll start on one of the many other library books I got, probably the one on Rasputin. That guy just seems pretty damn interesting.

Random thoughts for the day:
I need an eye exam. My glasses are becoming less and less effective.

If anybody has any good blender smoothie recipes, hook me up.

I think I need a good game or two of Kung Fu this weekend on regular Nintendo.

I friend of mine who used to work at Baskin Robbins taught me how to make their Cappucino and Chocolate Blasts

Can you send a recipe to me? I'm not a cappucino drinker, but Marie is, so maybe I could woo her with my 'mad skillz'.

Thanks ;)

Cute.

to make a blast mix in a blender

1 Cup Chocolate IceCream
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Ice (the ice gives it a great texture if you blend it right!)
4 0z chocolate or cappucino syrup

enjoy!
