I had a weird dream last night.

I was in a large, strange house. There were lots of people there, most holding babies. I went outside to my car to find that the bumper lying on the boulevard. The back half of my car was all exposed wires and pipes and the trunk had a tailgate. I remember being distressed that I had to find a new car immediately.

Marie took Snowball III to the vet yesterday and the blood work came back just fine. She does have ear mites that we are treating with drops. Marie also dropped off the stool sample this morning to check for worms.

We introduced Snowball III to Mitten last night, through the safety of the cat carrier. Mitten hissed and me-growled while Snowball III sat complacently. We're planning for a face to face confrontation tonight. Tell my parents I love them if I don't make it.

Marie's birthday is tomorrow and I think I have a good surprise for her. I'm surprisingly terrible at thinking up date ideas and presents in general, so we'll see how I do.

Poker Day 2004 has been confirmed. Oh lordie, it's going to be sweet.

Cat introductions are always hissy

We've had Calypso for a long time. A few months ago, we got Theodore and brought him home. Calypso was horrified - she peed and pooped everywhere, hid in strange places and made noises like I've never heard. We had to lock HER in the pet carrier because we were scared she'd hurt Theodore. But he just sat there being curious, not caring. Like your cat. :)

Snowball III is the Buddhist of the cat world. Just experiencing life and not causing undue stress and anxiety. Mitten is America - getting into trouble and getting caught, and yet expecting to be idolized and loved because of her attitude.

I need to get out more.
