It's all good.

First best friend: Nathan Winkler - grade school. He lived 5 or so blocks from me and we played Nintendo together a lot. He got very excited easily and we slept over at each other's houses often. His sister didn't have a middle name.
First real memory of something: Hanging out in my Donkey Kong pajamas in the first house I remember. I wore them until they were about 4 sizes too small.
First date: Erin Mares - 7th grade. I think we went out to dinner and then back to Luke's to watch TV. To the surprise of the greater Appleton area, I made it the whole night without wetting my pants.
First real kiss: See above. The kiss was somehow planned for weeks - I remember showing up to Luke's with breath mints, gum and a small flask of Scope. It was strange and exciting and powerful.
First Break-up: See above. She moved with her mom to another city. I cried on my paper route after reading the break-up note.
First Job: Register Jockey at the local Arby's. I was 15. It was like being on an episode of The Real World.
First screen name: Greenday03. I remember entering a drug-free chat room and getting my ass handed to me.
First self purchased album: Bryan Adams - Waking up the Neighbors. You knew that, right?
First funeral: my friend's grandfather, in junior high. I had no idea what to say or do and didn't feel my presence there was enough.
First pets: I think we had a rabbit when I was 3 or 4.
First piercing/tattoo: Error: File not found.
First credit card: Freshman year of college. Never paid interest charges on it yet.
First true love: The unbelievable Marie.
First enemy: One of the nameless jerks that used to torment me on the playground. Probably the one that punched me in the face (for no reason) and then laughed at me.
First big trip: Christmas vacation to Florida in December of 1999. At the time, it was the coldest winter on record for Florida.
First play/musical/performance: Hansel and Gretal in 5th grade, I was Hansel.
First musician you remember hearing in your house: Bruce Springsteen
