So, my workplace is unique in that we have a regular practice office here (which I am part of) and a separate group (the Data Center) that handles the firmwide technology stuff (our intranet, billing system, timecards, etc). They share office space with us and have no ties to the practice office - they could do their jobs at any office, but just happen to be doing it here. They pretty much do their own thing and we do ours. As typical of most technology staff I've personally worked with, they are mostly unapproachable and can be arrogant.

I'm running the United Way campaign for the Oshkosh office and didn't include them due to the fact that they operate as a different office. We are having a jeans day fundraiser on Friday. I just found out, THIRD HAND, that they are mad that they aren't being included in the activities.

Instead of exercising their rights as adults and coming to tell me about this (in which, I would have gladly included them in the campaign and made a note to do so from here on out), one of them told our receptionist, who told a partner, who just told me.

I have little tolerance for people who won't confront their issues but go out of their way to spread it around to anyone who will listen, so long as it's not anyone who can do something about it. Am I missing something? Do people need to have a certain level of drama in their life because they have nothing better to do? If I knew who told our receptionist about it, I'd go talk to that person but I don't want to get sucked into it all. Oi!

In happier news, I had another good shave this morning and won $10 in the office football pool. Tonight I am getting groceries and putting some moves on my wife. Probably in that order.

Also, I have a question for you, dear reader While I'm against lookism, smellism is a-ok with me. Any recommendations for a cologne for someone looking to mask the constant aroma of dried ass/raw onion that I carry with me like a trooper? Cutting down on farting and eating raw onions isn't an option, folks. I'm sure Marie would totally be your best friend.

Since the offended party wasn't offended enough to directly talk to you, they must not be that offended, right? I think, therefore, that you can ignore their whiny little arse and pretend they never said anything. I mean, who's to say that there really is an offended party from that office? This is how rumours get started, started by jealous people...

I adore Chrome. Plus it has a cool bottle, which is equally important.

A good smelling man is a fucking major turn on!

"Launched by the design house of Loris Azzaro in 1996, CHROME is classified as a sharp, fruity fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of crisp, tangy citrus. It is recommended for daytime wear."

That is, like, so me.

Where does one go about procuring such a fine product?

Sounds too much like a band Terry would like...but let me know just the same. I think I'll be at JCPenney's this weekend getting my sniff on.
