We beat the shit outta Timmy
Aug. 5th, 2003 04:30 pmI forgot to add:
Walking through a pro-breastfeeding parade
Carrying a bucket of primer down State Street
After taking a four-day vacation from shaving, I had thoughts of growing back my beard. I'm somehow pleased that I can grow a mustache too. I shaved this morning, but am leaving the possibility open the next time I've got a few days off in a row and can get through the first stages of growth.
We should have the newest addition to our family, a 4 month old kitten, by Saturday. Her name is Buttons, but we're thinking of changing it to Mitten, in honor of a Simpsons reference (which is, of course, what my life revolves around).
I just spent the past 30 minutes printing off three letters on letterhead. Despite my flawless instructions, my printer just kept on fucking up. As much as food shouldn't be a medicant, it sent me scrambling for the vending machine.
Tonight is a block-party for our street. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the neighbors, but feel a little out of place in the neighborhood. I was a little disappointed to not have more people come over and welcome us to the neighborhood when we first moved in. We'll see how they like having liberal, feminist vegetarians around.
I'm back on track with the Photo project, but have weeks of scanning and renaming ahead of me. The thing that keeps me going is how worth it this is going to be once it's done.
