Yesterday, the receptionist and marketing assistant were in my office and "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" was playing on my CD player. The receptionist asked me what music I liked and I responded with 'punk rock'. She nearly fainted. I think because I display the professional image at work (and mostly at home), most are surprised at my taste in music. Anyway, the marketing assistant, who just got back from a trip with her friend to her friend's uncle's house in Texas asked me if I wanted the latest Donnas CD, as the uncle burned them a bunch of CDs without really knowing their tastes. And since seeing their video, I have a crush on the drummer because she really moves her hair a lot when she drums and I totally heart long hair. So in summary, my current crushes are the drummer from The Donnas, Jason Lee, and Aisha Tyler. Later: Having realized I'm not a 14 year old girl, this CD isn't going to do me much good. The crush, however, still stands.
I also found a ten-dollar bill in the Hobby Lobby parking lot last night. It's the largest amount of cash I've ever found that wasn't hidden by myself in a bad hiding spot.
Marie and I went out for Chinese for the first time in a long time. I didn't totally stuff myself, which is a first. It might have been because we didn't have to pay for it (gift certificates from Bowl for Kids Sake) that I didn't feel I had to eat my money's worth.
