I hate to waste a good mad

twicketfaceI made my way over to Andrea’s around 6:00 and had a nice visit while we waited for the pizza to arrive. She had an extra dog this time around (bringing the total up to three), as she was dog-sitting for her sister. I was the center of attention as both of Andrea’s dogs quickly plopped down in my lap as I took a seat. Feels good to be the center of attention every now and again. It was cute.
Andrea and I talked about her current and my former employer and how bass-ackwards it continues to run. It’s hard to understand how the people that are in charge can’t see the problem. After dinner, I helped her with her resume. I hope she can find something before the convention this summer, but I think that’s a little ambitious.
Got home and finally conquered my pile of ironing. I had multiple pairs of pants and did an above-average job on them. Everytime I think that no one notices wrinkly clothing at work, I realize how quick I am to notice it on other people. Also got caught up on taped versions of Futurama and Home Movies. I’m glad that they are replaying HM, as we are seeing a lot of episodes for the first time.
I made cheesy hash brown potatoes this morning before work, an all day crock-pot meal that we’ve not had in a while. Plans got changed (read: cancelled) with Terry, so I might have a night of relaxation and reading.
Also, I’m dealing with someone who has no experience/common sense when it comes to eBay. I’m selling The Sims and have had nothing but problems with this person. Hopefully, I’ll get my money soon and can send it out to him/her.
