For the first time in a month, I'm used to being beardless.

For the first time in a few years, I'm looking forward to going to work tomorrow.

For the first time in my life, I held Marie's purse while she went to the bathroom.

For the first time in a long time, Marie and I had a snowball fight.

For the first time in 5 years, we went out to a coffee house and listened to live music. Smoke free and relaxed, it was a really good time.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like things are moving in the right direction. This seemed like the longest weekend of my life and I chalk it up to watching preciously little television. The anti-time machine.

Actually, yes. I bought pads for her early on. She had to tell me which symbol to get (either a leaf or tree or something, the way they differentiated between the varieties).

The checkout girl gave me a 'You're all man!' look and I walked with my head held high.
