Thirdly, I've been notified that my scrotum tale was not one well received by readers. I'll keep my future exploits concerning my manhood to a minimum (can't get much smaller!) or behind a cut screen.
Permission to vent granted: I can totally understand and even enjoy people who are technology-ignorant. It's a complex world and someone twice my age would understandably have a hard time with things I can pick up quite easily. However, I get majorly irked at people who are terrified of technology. I'm more than willing to devote large amounts of time and energy to someone and help them, but when they cringe and sputter at simple directions I just get frustrated. Ideally, I'd like to be a trainer in some field, working with helping people learn new things. I figure anyone with a good attitude can be trained. It's those people who struggle and fight the eventual that are destined to be unhappy.
Or something.
I feel like a bit of a heel. I have an interview on Monday for the best job prospect I've come across in months. I just told my boss (the nice one) that I was taking the afternoon off for an appointment and some shopping. She smiled and said "It's not a job interview, right?" with a smile and a laugh. I said 'no' but maybe she's on to me? I probably could have told her the truth, but I still have to watch my back to some extent.
Today is Marie's birthday, which rules. We're going out for dinner and hopefully playing some Rummy 5,000,000 when we get home. She's due for a pounding, and I'll leave it at that. I'm guessing a foot massage and pampering are in order too. As they should be.
