Hi, Aquaman!
Dec. 4th, 2002 04:41 pmToday I experienced the worst way to start a day. I arose and amid-ball scratching, I realized a pain in (or should I say on) my scrotum. Upon further inspection, I was greeted with an ingrown hair the size of a large pimple, staring back at me. Knowing what I had to do, I headed to the bathroom and got out the tweezers. The first two attempts did not dislodge the hair but did cause significant amounts of wincing on my part. The third time was a charm, a charm that hurt like a mother. A recent inspection has confirmed that the large pimple still exists.
Today I got a resume from the web designer for http://www.opensecrets.org, which makes me happy.
Further proof Packers fans rule and Vikings fans just suck - Bubba Franks, the Packers tight end recently raised $1,771.52 for the Salvation Army during one hour of bell ringing at the averagely mall-sized Bay Park Square Mall in Green Bay. Byron Chamberlain, the Vikings tight end did the same thing, but at the hugegantic Mall of America in Minnesota. He raised a whopping $363.
Last night was pretty productive. Made dinner, hit up the Y for a long overdue workout, stopped to get some Christmas shopping done and back home before 8:00. Worked on the non-f2f comp and called it a night after some wrestling with Marie.
Tonight my parents are coming at 5:30 for Marie's birthday (tomorrow) for dinner and presents with Terry showing up around 7:30 for presents and cribbage. I'm looking forward to both. Will try to get some ironing done too, as my wardrobe has become rather wrinkly.
I think Alkaline Trio has replaced The Dismemberment Plan for Band to Jizz My Pants Over. I anxiously await the new album in April.
I just realized that no one has ever "bought me a drink" in that sense. Unsurprising, but still interesting. I think the only drink I've bought for someone was a shot for Carrie B. in Appleton when Jeremy, Carrie B, Andrea and I (I think Marie was there too) went out and played darts. I remember we needed two '18s' in a row to win and just before Jeremy's turn to shoot I whispered something dirty (butt humping was mentioned) into his ear. He hit two 18s in a row to win. I have a way with words. Jeremy gave Andrea a horsey ride down College Avenue afterwards.
My friends rule.
