Karl Marx and History

This is just beyond fantastic. This LJ user has found a pedophile and has suckered him into buying the user scads and scads of things in order to be sent phony pictures of an of-age girl who looks young. Go to the ljconfessional community for more updates and to see the wishlist that has been fulfilled. Is this supporting pedophiles by giving into what they want or simply teaching some pervert a lesson?

Anyways, last night was fun but sad at the same time. A friend got some bad news, but I think everything is going to turn out fine in the end. After I got home, Marie and I went to Burger King for supper before groceries, as the cupboards were damn near bare. We got the BK Veggie burger. I asked them to add raw onions to the burger but they decided to *only* put onions on it. The burger was average and the fries honestly tasted like nothing. They were hot and fresh, but had no taste to them. I think that my craving for fast food meals has all but disappeared.

Coupled with the book I'm reading, My Year of Meats, which discusses all the antibiotics and crap that they put in what becomes food to meat eaters, I think this is a good thing. I take it back, I'll eat peanut butter but not bologna, [livejournal.com profile] mikecheck.

Called Terry after we got back from shopping and played a good hour and a half of tennis with no rain. Brian came along a little bit later and we both played with him. Brian was drawing a cartoon wolf in chalk on the side of the court that ended up looking amusing. Dropped off Terry and made my way home. Read for a bit and then tried to go to sleep but just couldn't get comfortable. Up at the crack of 5:30 to head to the Y. Had a good workout and then headed off to work after getting ready. My neck has been acting up earlier and earlier, so I think I might need to get back on the ice routine.

Tonight will be cards with Terry and probably an early bedtime. I'm dragging today.

There is a small spider that apparently wants to live in my cubicle with me. I've thought about taking him outside but s/he came with the plant that a co-worker got for her birthday. It is a black and yellow spider, really tiny one. It's a hopping spider, frequently leaping (with a tiny jump) from my desk to my felt green wall to my pencil cup, etc. The initial thought of "You go squish now!" went away on it's own and I have taken time out of each day, when Spidey Jr. appears, to appreciate his (her?) trials and tribulations.
