Somethings just fall apart with time...
A Manitoba, Canada, farmer filed a lawsuit in January against four doctors and the Brandon Regional Health Authority after he contracted the flesh-eating-bacteria disease while undergoing colon surgery. The man had to have his buttocks amputated. [Edmonton Journal, 2-1-02]

xjustinx last night. He tried and unsuccessfully convinced me that face to face sucks. What a maroon.
My Sims are progressing nicely, time to fill up the neighborhood with other people that I create and get rid of that blur patch. Those two sentiments don't go together.
I had a wonderful surprise at work today. Around 2:30 I get a call from our receptionist that there was someone here to see me. Looking on my calendar and seeing no appointments, I wondered who it could be. I walk out to the lobby and am greeted by a grinning Carrie B! She's in town from Chicago for her dad's retirement party and had to stop by to visit. I was overjoyed, as it's been months since I've seen her. We walked through the museum and chatted for about an hour before I had to get back to work. It was so great to see her.
The massive paper cut on my finger is probably going to turn into a cool scar.
Tonight will be grocery shopping, cashing in on the chemical spill ($50 for the inconvenience) and working on my first professionally submitted writing piece .
I made up a pretty good to do list. May will be "No Junk Food" month for me. Trying to avoid processed junk foods for 31 days will do me some good. Also hope to do some comparison shopping for a bike, as I'm hoping to do a lot of riding this summer.
