The hours are just melting away.
Rental car: check
Groceries: check
Maps: check
AAA materials: check
Electronics: charged
CDs: To be chosen
Clothes: To be packed
Excitement at peak level: double check
I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those trips, one of those trips that cements friends together, pinballs conversation during the many hours in our rental car, reaches a new level of understanding and communication, locks us into our past with memories we will recant in the future. Anything else will be unacceptable.
In a way, I'm looking forward to no communication with 5 days. No email, no chatting, no answering machine messages, nothing. To become a little invisible.
Brian and Terry started their own season of Madden a few weeks back, including some created players. Free safety Brutal Assassinsky and quarterback (4'10, 400 pound) Rumpy Dumplewitz are my favorites.
In the future, I'll take up my work complaints with a brick wall, as I feel it would provide faster and more satifactory results. Maybe I need to start my own union.
