Has Snoop Dogg ever had a good hairday?
Thursday was a pretty good session, but it was a long day. One of the things I've learned of my personality is that I'm a 'low C', meaning I'm a multi-tasker and I don't sit still well. I need to get up, move around, stop and start projects frequently, and so forth. Let's just say I felt like a Megasoreass by 5:00.
Bob (the presenter/high priced consultant) and I went for dinner together, as everyone else had other plans. We went to the Safe House, and I was disappointed. Not an authentic experience, as the 'regular' restaurant was booked up, so we ate near the bar. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a veggie burger on the menu. It was heavy on the black bean, but not consistency wise, which was perfect. Good fries and good root beer made the meal complete. We had a nice conversation - I'm trying to work on my social skills (I was fully prepared to eat my leftovers from lunch in my room for dinner). It was a wise choice.
I've not had the time I thought I would, with homework and long meals. But, I've been able to get some reading done and relax a bit too. Having HBO is nice too - I've caught some of Harry Potter after dinner.
It's nice to have symphony music in the hotel bathroom. Very conducive to relaxation.
One of the first things I'm going to do once I rule the world is make crotch-damage pain illegal in movies and television. How many shots of 'bad guys' getting kneed in the groin do we need?
If I'm reading the results of the Predictive Index correctly, I'm in the wrong job for my profile. So if a company hires me for a job and then teaches me it's not the right job for me, should I be thankful or angry?
Not sure if I told you, but I think Terry and Danielle are going to Michigan now instead of Harvard. Not as good for the 'vacation' aspects, but a lot closer for us to visit.
Friday was good too. But kinda long. Luckily, we got out early (4:00), so I was home by 5:30. Unpacked and got caught up with Marie. Had the best (non)chicken patty of my life and called it an early night.
I had something to say and now I totally forgot it.
